4 steps to take back control of your life

(1) Become aware of the words you speak and start speaking the Word of God throughout the day.

[Proverbs 17:20 (AMP)] :"...he who has a willful and contrary tongue will fall into calamity".

A contrary tongue speaks words that disagree with what God says about a matter.
You WILL bring something terrible into your life, if you speak words opposed to the Word of God.


(2) Walk away from anyone who starts to quarrel.
You must not get into strife with anyone because:

[Proverbs 17: 19 (AMP)]:"He who loves strife and is quarrelsome LOVES sin".

A true child of God HATES sin and consequently will seek to avoid quarreling at all costs for as it is written in [Prov 10: 19]:"Where words are many, sin is not absent".


(3) Make it a priority to tell the truth because:"lying lips are extremely disgusting and hateful to the Lord [Prov 12: 22 AMP]".

Also, to be and remain in right relationship with our Heavenly Father, we must train ourselves to "hate lying and deceit" [prov 13:5] like He does.
For "ALL LIARS" will be thrown into the lake of fire at the end of days (Rev 21:8).


(4) Study the Bible, filling yourself with the word of God for at least a few minutes daily.

The Word of God gives life to you.

[2 Timothy 2: 15 (AMP)] tells us to"study (the Bible)...correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth".

We are to "guard & keep [with the greatest care] the precious..Truth."

How to share Jesus Christ effectively

First, pray for yourself the following prayer
from [Colossians 4: 3,4 (AMP):

Heavenly Father, I ask you in the name of Jesus
to open a door to me for the Word ( the Gospel),
to proclaim the mystery concerning Christ...
that I may proclaim it fully and make it clear
[speaking BOLDLY and unfolding the mystery],
as is my duty.

Second, if you believed that you received what you just requested
then according to Mark 11: 24 say the following:

I thank you Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus,
that a door is open to me for the Word (the Gospel),
and that I proclaim the mystery concerning Christ fully
and make it clear and speak it BOLDLY as is my duty.

Third, expect and look for opportunities to SHARE what you believe.
A receptive person will ask questions and listen calmly.

BUT DO NOT get into arguments!

The Word teaches us in [2 Timothy 2: 23],

"REFUSE (shut your mind against, have nothing to do with) TRIFLING
(ill-informed, unedifying, stupid) CONTROVERSIES
over ignorant questionings,
for you know that they foster STRIFE"


Fourthly, begin to study the Word in earnest,
meditating (repeatedly speaking softly)
on passages of scripture important to you.



Prayer for Hope, Joy and Peace

One certain way to get blessed is to be a blessing to others
and that is as easy as breathing out the following prayer:

Petition: Heavenly Father, I ask You, the God of Hope, in the name of Jesus Christ, to fill...(NAME)... with all joy and peace as he/she trusts in You, so that...(NAME)...may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Acknowledgement of receipt:Heavenly Father, I believed that I received, in the name of Jesus Christ, what I just prayed for when I prayed for it.

Thanksgiving:I thank you Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ,that...(NAME)... trusts in you and that you are filling him/her with all joy and peace as he/she trusts in you, and that...(NAME)...overflows with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
